OUR MISSION

Active Reality’s purpose is to address the pressing issue of declining physical activity among young individuals. 

 

Our innovative approach can have a substantial impact on public health by engaging the computer games/screen time generation in physical activity. 

 

Our aim is to ultimately contribute to healthier communities and improved public health. 

WHAT IS IT?

Active Reality's use free roam, active VR to increase physical activity and group social interaction. 

 

Imagine a room where you can physically walk, sit, run, jump, punch, kick all with other people in real life, whilst viewing a much larger virtual environment with many more people. You can play 'laser tag' style player vs player games, or dance together at a festival; It's called free roaming VR. 

 

The content is focused on physical activity and repeat use. The experiences perfect for weekly sports, parties, corporate team building and entertainment, so audiences can be matched to ensure optimisation of all operating hours in the centres. 

 

Computer games often use strong behavioural change mechanics and Active Reality uses these same mechanics to increase physical activity and mental wellbeing.

 

Active Reality provides technology to engage audiences in physical activity using immersive free roam Virtual Reality (VR) gaming and active eSports. They increase exercise participation in traditionally harder to reach categories, including younger people and lower socio economic groups with changing circumstances.
